Snow in Waco 2004

The area under the trees remained green. We had really warm weather the week before the snow so the grass was real green.	The ducks were staying in the water since it was warmer that the air.	I had been about 14 years since the last snow where the ground had been covered like this.
This is the east end of the suspension bridge.	The red traffic light stood out in the grayish daylight.	There was very little traffic but there was no ice on the streets, not even on the bridges.
The river ran slow and quiet.	.Washington Ave. looked very empty.	The fountain and the benches made for a peaceful setting. Corner of Washington Ave. and University Parks Drive.
Here I am.	Some folks must have been out there awfully early to make this dirty snowball.	Way down there you can see a snowman.
The tree branches were heavy with the sticky snow.	The amphitheater had been visited also. The folks must have been out there before the snow stopped falling because their tracks had new snow on them.	The berries were already out. This bush had been tricked into thinking that Spring was already here.
